New Horizon Counseling Center
We accept newly sober individuals in our gender specific homes. Residents must pass a drug screening upon arrival to our Denton County affordable sober living homes. It's simple, they must have a desire to live drug and alcohol free and are committed to themselves and their peers. It is recommended to complete a program from an addiction treatment center before sober living, but it is not required. We also accept those with longer amounts of sobriety in our Dallas sober homes. We trust that "seeing is believing" having role models in the house is important for all residents.

Residents of a sober living home can attend outpatient rehab programs or group meetings unaffiliated with the home. Preparation includes completing house chores, using the bathroom, and having breakfast. Some residents also look for employment, get involved in a volunteer job, or go for their outpatient day programs.
